About Jon Grove

I have worked in specialty fitness retail for 32 years. I have primarily overseen markets, managed stores, trained new staff and done some commercial sales - I have run our very successful rental program into the Atlanta film industry and I am in charge of acquisitions of any pre-owned items from retail clients- I began selling department store fitness equipment at Sportstown, Inc. in Marietta, GA at 18 while in college then graduated to specialty fitness with Atlantic Fitness in 1992, Busy Body Fitness in 1994, Fitness Resource from 2001 until 2010, Busy Body Gyms to Go from 2010 until purchased by Premier Fitness Source in 2012. I currently still work for Premier- I owned and operated a small gym called North Georgia Barbell from 2002-2013. This was one of the top powerlifting facilities in the nation and a household name in the sport - With 35 years of experience training people I do assist/mentor many young powerlifters, a few competitive bodybuilders and enjoy working with general population clients these days incorporating compound exercises with circuit conditioning. This "MetCon" approach has been very successful and rewarding.
