About Jon Hancock

My career as a "Head Men's Basketball Coach" spans over 25 years in the greater Charlotte, NC area and my record stands at (491-285). In my current role at East Lincoln High School in Denver, NC we achieved a winning record of (167-52) over the last few seasons, along with two conference championships, two sectional championship, two conference tournament championships, and two appearances in the NC Regional Tournament. My playing experience includes Mars Hill College from 1984-1988 where I scored over college career points. I have led teams to nine regular season conference championships and numerous other titles. I have developed basketball programs for new schools and established schools. Many of my players have been developed to achieve college scholarships,"All Conference" status, and several have been voted,"Player of the Year". Over the years I have received 15 different "Coach of the Year" awards as a result of my player's success. I am passionate about developing players through team and individual development.
