About Jon Herman

After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I founded a theater company creating original, collaborative work. Our method broke from a more traditional theater mold, focusing on the audience’s experience from the outset of the creative process. While actively pursuing my creative passions, I worked my way up within the same company, Crif Dogs, from delivery person to a bartender at the James Beard Award Winning Please Don’t Tell, one of the most highly regarded and most-awarded cocktail bars in the world. Next, I translated my high end hospitality training to human-centric sales, creating a vast network of homeowners and referral pipelines across the entire country at the largest residential solar company in the United States. At Sunrun, I was able to help grow our sales organization, our operational branches, and our customer experience teams within New York City and Long Island into the largest market share of residential solar in the most competitive solar market on the East Coast.
