About Jon Hoover

I am currently a Registered Private Client Associate at Janney Montgomery Scott on track to be a Financial Advisor. Currently, I have passed my SIE, Series 7, Series 66, and my Life, Accident, and Health Insurance exams. Furthermore, I have received my Official Pass for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation to enhance my education and experience within the industry. Financial advising means I get to help people navigate their financial health through investing, saving and spending habits, retirement and tax planning, and much more. I wish to help people understand and achieve their financial goals and aspirations through custom designed plans on a person to person basis. On a personal note, I believe my experiences have helped me develop a sense of compassion, tenacity, and confidence. I love working alongside others in a communication and cooperation-driven environment. I have varied work and volunteer experience, and I have taken classes in economics, political history, politics, and public speaking that have helped me to better my understanding of business, entrepreneurship, international affairs, governmental operations, and economics. Finally, I love the outdoors, fishing, exercising, wrestling, reading, writing, and learning about entrepreneurship.
