Jon's business and technology background spans over 50 years of progressive experience as an Officer/ Executive Officer (including CEO, COO, CIO, CAO, Vice-Chairman) in the Automotive, Logistics and Transportation, Telecommunications, Retail, and Government Contracting Industries. Previous employers include Federal Mogul Corporation, Federal Express, Bell South (now part of AT & T), Limited Brands/L Brands, DSW/Schottenstein Stores Corporation, and Mission Essential LLC. Jon also leads a very successful consulting practice in the areas of Brand Growth, Strategic Planning, and Technology application. Mr. Ricker is a proven, seasoned senior business executive with a deep technology background (including big data, machine learning, and AI) as well as significant experience in developing and leading Brand Growth, Visioning, and Strategic Planning for several Fortune 100 companies. Jon has received multiple recognitions/awards for Brand Development and Growth, Advanced Technology Development (including two prestigious Computerworld Smithsonian Awards), Strategic Leadership, and Organizational Development (including multiple "Best Places to Work"). He served as a Board member 9 times (currently serving on 4) in For-Profit, Academic, and Non-Profit organizations. He also has served in Advisory Board positions for multiple companies including MicroSoft, IBM, Hewlett Packard, NCR, and Teradata. Jon has amassed over 30 years of experience with the Web including the development, deployment, and operation of large-scale commercial E-commerce operations. He has had business and budget responsibilities that exceed $4B and over employees, as well as significant experience in the start-up, development, and funding of new business ventures (both domestic and internationally). As part of his consulting practice, Jon has also served as an executive team coach, personal executive coach, and leadership team mentor.
