About Jon Kwok

I bring versatility, passion, and impact towards successfully merging project management and healthcare! As a REGULATED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, I have been fortunate to contribute- Professional health services as a Registered Kinesiologist since the inception of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (COKO) in 2013 (plus several years prior to regulation)- Knowledge and subject area expertise to positively impact current/future professional practice standards and guidelines via various committee/working group capacities at the COKO- Time and energy dedicated to the growth and development of our regulatory college. As a PROJECT MANAGER, I have been fortunate to provide impact in ways such as the following highlights- A three year project to identify/analyze physical & cognitive demands of every role within a medium-sized municipality: roles ranging from firefighters to roads maintenance to administrative- Determining the job hazards associated with the production of parts intended for aeronatics/space travel: outlining physical hazards, chemical exposures and painting/curing processes- Gathering market intelligence relating to a new health technology platform: facilitated the crossover between academics/research, patients, and front-line clinicians. At the INTERSECTION of project management in healthcare, I have been fortunate to learn from the following industries/sectors- Orthopedic Rehabilitation - Ergonomics - Occupational Health/Wellness/Safety - Disability Case Management - Cognitive Behavioural Science (as a Wellness product)- NeuroCognitive Assessment (as a health technology)
