About Jon Lanman

I am a Registered Dietitian and Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a Masters of Science in Dietetics, Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. As a professional, I am passionate about empowering people to live healthier, more satisfying lives, via nutrition, exercise and behavioral change. I draw from 10+ years of prior experience in marketing and communications to provide impactful education that's rooted in evidenced based information. With a background in marketing and technology, I'm especially sensitive to the detrimental effects of current marketing practices which often contribute to nutrition and health misinformation, mental overwhelm, and negative self-image. As someone with roots in this field, I see it as a personal mission to be a counterpoint to these influences, while providing evidence based insight, personal connection, and empowerment to those I serve. Professional Interests: motivational interviewing, intuitive eating, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, eating disorders, and health writing. Personal Interests: hiking, rock climbing, music, and writing.
