About Jon Lawton

I have over 29 years command experience in the Security Industry. Prior to that I served as a Non Commissioned Officer in the British Army, Royal Green Jackets. Over that time I have developed a wide spectrum of knowledge and skills which have allowed me to approach any challenge with confidence, professionalism and the dedication required to get the job done. I have a proven track record as a Security Manager, managing the security of exhibitions and special events throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland. As a control room supervisor I worked in two extremely busy control rooms at the Olympia Exhibition Centre and Alexandra Palace in London, operating in a high pressure environment supervising incidents ranging from multiple medical casualties, fires, structural collapse, assaults, terrorism threats and public demonstrations. During my time in the British army I served three operational tours, in Northern Ireland and Iraq, where as a section commander, I commanded troops in a hostile and demanding environment during a period of intense insurgency.
