About Jon Lim
Doctoral student with experience in bioinformatics and an education in biology, biochemistry, information sciences, chemistry, physics, and more. Currently working on developing and implementing bioinformatics tools to find genetic variants for tumour pre-disposition in humans that can be used later on in tumour screening. When I'm not working on genomics and transcriptomics and other omics, I spend most of my time with ESN (Erasmus Student Network). After joining as a local volunteer and later joining the team on the national level, working with ESN has become a passion of mine. The vision and goals of ESN align with my own personal values, and I am inspired by the idea of creating a stronger, more understanding community through mobility and international education.
