Twenty-three-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and nearing three years of Business Development and Program Management in Higher Education. Directing Military and Government Programs at a private/non-profit, award-winning college, I worked remotely and traveled extensively to develop business nationwide within the military and government markets, including family members and veterans, aimed to help them achieve their educational goals. Provided a thorough market analysis and comprehensive proposal supporting immediate organizational change resulting in a new revenue stream for the college and greatly benefiting military families. Through aggressive networking and effective communication with military and government leaders, our partnerships increased by over 600% in 18 months. In addition to operational positions in the military, I directly led the Instructional Development, Training Delivery, Performance Evaluation, and Logistics at a large training center and three remote sites. This role required effective organizational skills, team building and collaboration across a 150+ workforce comprised of military, civil service (union and non-union) and contract employees.
