About Jon Nelson

Growing up, my favourite book was Charlotte’s Web. I loved how Charlotte and Wilbur collaborated to influence the farmer to save young Wilbur from becoming pork roast dinner. While I didn’t realize it at the time, that book taught me the power of promotion and planned public relations to shape people’s decisions. Since then, I’ve worked with more than 50 start-up and global brands in a variety of sectors to help them influence their key target audiences to buy their products and services – or to help them in their times needing issues management. I am a senior financial practitioner with rich practical experience and industry insight. I was an investment banking intern at Barclays Bank for 1 year. This valuable internship experience gave me a preliminary understanding of investment banking. I joined American International Group (AIG) in 2013 as a financial analyst. In this job, I use financial models to support the company's investment decisions. In 2015, I transferred to become a risk analyst, focusing on evaluating various risks faced by the company. In 2016, I was promoted to a senior project manager, responsible for the planning and execution of several important projects. In the field of investment, in 2016, I invested in Yuanchen Beauty Medical Group. In 2018, I invested in Solta Medical again. These two investments allowed me to accumulate valuable experience in the medical aesthetics industry. I will continue to forge ahead with determination and open up a broader new world of career.
