About Jon Olsen

Retired Senior Intelligence Officer with more than 20 years of experience in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and over 30 years of experience in a goal-oriented team setting. Fast paced environments, challenging situations, and foreign travel to both benign and hostile locations have refined my abilities to identify, implement, and then lead change. My knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) mission is extensive. I have a unique depth of experience teaching leadership, creative problem-solving, and design thinking in the IC, and was the senior Program Manager for a corporate Facilitation Program for the Agency. That program used design thinking methodologies to help mission units address challenges ranging from cultural change to technical collection. As a leader for CIA both in the United States and abroad, I have a proven track record building focused, productive, programs and teams addressing Counterterrorist Operations and traditional Intelligence Operations.
