My major job responsibilities included preparing and filing quarterly and annual financial statements under USGAAP and IFRS, leading external annual financial statement audits and quarterly reviews, acting as subject matter expert in complex technical accounting topics for global accounting teams, implementing new accounting standards as well as internal controls, liaising with tax, treasury, legal, FP & A and external auditors on special projects and working closely with C-Suite to prepare management reports, technical accounting memos and analyses. Through various roles in public accounting in the United States and Canada, I have over six years of experience in providing transaction and accounting advisory services to large public companies under both IFRS and US GAAP; primarily serving clients in technology, retail and financial services sectors.
