Background

About Jon Roop

I’m an implementer – I embrace change and implement innovation in engineering, construction management, and business continuity markets. I drive new business creation, market development, global expansion and operational excellence across domestic and international enterprises. I also have a reputation for transforming ideas and nascent talent into profitable revenue-generating lines of business and value-added services. I’m interpersonally active – I step forward, take part, and do not hesitate to act. I have a strategic perspective that delivers actionable policy, plans, cross-functional team building, human capital transformation, and risk-based enterprise resilience initiatives. I’ve assembled and led cross-functional teams delivering enterprise risk management, business continuity, cyber security, information assurance and government acquisition programs to protect key assets and ensure continuity of operations. After 30-years of coaching, mentoring, and leading in the military and private sectors, I have matured as an independent thinker, team builder and collaborator who brings a novel approach to problem resolution by bringing initiatives to life.
