Jon Sackett is a highly experienced healthcare leader with 24 years of corporate, nonprofit, and consulting experience and a deep passion to grow and improve the business. Jon is currently a principal product manager at Providence on the Administrative Technologies team, focused on improving the onboarding value stream. He leads the technology product design and implementation to improve the end-to-end onboarding processes. Responsible for leading discussions and planning with region and ministry executives and leaders. Jon has the unique ability to apply lean thinking, principles and methodology to product design, implementation and improvement. Jon Sackett worked previously a business consultant and owner of Lean Management Systems Consulting (LMS Consulting). While there, he led major initiatives with executives and large cross-functional teams to achieve breakthrough results. Example of results achieved with Technology: account claiming success rate from 55% to 88%, reduction in related incidents by 80%. Results in clinics: 40% increase in team satisfaction, 53% reduction in wait-time for patients, 50% increase in exam utilization, and 97% pre-visit planning compliance, 23% increase in patient care space per square foot and $4.5 million capital cost savings. ASC results: reduction in lead-time of arrival to case start from 90-minutes to 45-minutes, 70% reduction in time to re-order supplies. Jon has gained expertise in strategy development and deployment, 3P (integrated facility design), rapid process / value stream improvement, 5S and daily management systems. He has coached numerous leaders and teams through cultural challenges and barriers, to improve as a team and gain ownership in the process and outcomes. Jon also was a director at The Everett Clinic, a business strategist at Children's of Minnesota, a contract manager at Patient Choice Healthcare, and a consultant at Arthur Anderson. He holds a dual master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration from Saint Louis University.
