About Jon Saenz

For nine months, I have been working as a home care provider at Absolute Healthcare, a leading provider of quality and compassionate home care services in San Antonio, Texas. I collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, such as nurses and physicians, to ensure seamless coordination of care and the implementation of individualized care plans for clients. In my role, I promote client independence and mobility through exercises and rehabilitative practices, facilitating improved health outcomes. I also provide companionship and emotional support, recognizing and addressing the social and psychological needs of clients. I have developed strong skills in personal care services, medical social work, and supportive services, as well as communication, problem-solving, and empathy. I am also pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at Grand Canyon University, with an expected graduation date of October 2024. I am passionate about learning and applying sociological theories and concepts to real-world situations and challenges, especially those related to youth and their well-being. I aspire to become a youth counselor or a counselor in general, and I am eager to gain experience and contribute to a company or organization that aligns with my values and interests in this field.
