About Jon Spire

I presently serve as the Director of Nursing Operations for Mercy Emergency Trauma Center in Springfield, MO. As a Certified Athletic Trainer and Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri, I leverage my healthcare and leadership expertise to enhance both my workplace and the quality of health services we provide to our community. I am committed to being a servant leader, advocating for those who may not feel empowered to speak for themselves. Missouri State University played a foundational role in shaping my journey, and its motto, Follow Your Passion, Find Your Place, has guided me every step of the way. My passion for healthcare and leadership has led me to incredible opportunities, and I continue to strive for growth both personally and professionally. Having recently completed a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration, I have come to realize that formal education is just the beginning of true leadership. I am eager to continue learning, developing, and making a meaningful impact.
