About Jon Stadler

I was a student athlete, captain at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where I completed my BBA and MBA in marketing, with deans list honors multiple years and graduating Cum Laude. As a student athlete I have learned many valuable and transferable skills regarding leadership and coaching, time/project management, effective communication and many others. As a Nike Athlete I have applied these skills to help bring up new associates as well as help push the store to reach its goals everyday. I assisted with product launches as well as other events including Doernbecher, NBA 2019, Women’s World Cup, and individual product launches like the Joyride, Pegasus 36 and other seasonal launches. I then became a product test analyst and coordinator at Columbia sportswear, where I got to work with and observe product trials. I documented and organized a lot of the data and product specific information regarding fit sessions and had to them archive hundreds of pairs for later viewing. I loved this opportunity because of how close I was to footwear and apparel products as well as the next technology. My goal is to find a permanent role within the footwear category where I can continue to grow and now add more experience regarding an anatomical understanding of the foot and footwear, as well as my understanding of footwear construction from the ground up. I want to help make products better, ultimately making the athlete better.
