About Jon Stage

Jon grew up playing piano, accordion, trumpet, church organ and sang in a choir. He started breakdancing in 2001, as one of his biggest passions. He has taught workshops on movement and dance since 2003, and worked mainly as a dancer, teacher, consultant, lecture and performer in numerous occasions. In 2005 he started his studies contemporary dance, ballet and jazz. He graduated from DanseStudiets Professional Dance Education in 2008. Jon founded the company Jonstage.com in 2010 to create a more stable platform as an artist. In 2011 Jon premiered as a choreographer, and in 2012 he began to work more on his music, mainly using a Loop Station as an instrument. Jon also works with film and sound media, and is skilled a skilled videographer and editor. Jon is a board member of numerous cultural unions, amongst them a co-founder of the Silkeborg based international breakdance event King Of Jutland and the Silkeborg based theater group Teater Didasca. Besides dance, Jon is also an eager entrepreneur within the coffee world, and the main distributor of Marley Coffee in Denmark, and partly owner of the company Kvalivare.
