About Jon Strohbehn

44 years of piping design experience that includes offshore to onshore, upstream to downstream projects. One of the few remaining designers trained at the Fluor Piping Design School. Projects include offshore platforms, production facilities, FSPO’s, chemical plants, refineries, compressor stations, pumping stations, pipelines and power plants. I have mentored many young designers in plant general arrangement drawings, plant layouts, piping systems, structural steel, pipe supports, 3D equipment models of tanks, pumps, heat exchangers, compressors, heaters, boilers, and columns. Headed up the CADpipe Users group in Houston for several years. Created and conducted classes teaching other designers CADpipe and Rebris piping software. Designed and created P & ID’s,3D piping orthographic drawings, Isometrics, bills of material and other project deliverables. I look forward to many more years of designing systems using new technologies as they become available.
