I'm co-founder of Jordon Freight, which is a global freight forwarding company which Roddy and myself built over 25 years ago. Together, we’ve grown Jordon into a multi-million pound business with a very talented team of people. We are trusted by clients worldwide for innovative logistics solutions and exceptional customer service which the Jordon brand has become synonomous for this. I thrive at the intersection of vision, strategy, and execution and have relentless focus on planning and problem-solving. Some would say a compulsion, except some times I know we need to flex a little to allow some breathing space just to 'see what happens'. I've learnt this is an important aspect some times. My role ensures Jordon not only adapts to a fast-changing industry but remains a step ahead. My background in media production helps keep our branding and marketing focused on what we truly believe in - an authentic customer experience. A bold identity and strong market presence which understands who we are is vitally important to us. We aren't like other companies. My coaching experience with business owners strengthens my leadership approach, allowing me to mentor people and teams, build lasting partnerships, and foster a culture of growth and collaboration. Our values at Jordon are an extension of its owners from when we started the company. We wanted a place where people enjoyed coming to work, and loved to provide the best customer service. This is our passion. Living with a certain brain type I bring a unique perspective to everything I do, often challenging the status quo — whereas Roddy fulfills the day-to-day operations now, I am absoutely future-focused, dynamic, and driven to continuously improve the business for our customers. I am deeply committed to the shared operational vision of Jordon Freight, leveraging technology, innovation, and customer-centric strategies to deliver real value to our clients. The customer is king. Whether it’s crafting long-term strategies or empowering others, I believe in building businesses that make a lasting impact. It's not easy, but nothing great ever is, nor should be. So that's the current me, still remaining a passionately independent thinker with a zest for collaboration to achieve really great things.
