About Jon Valentin

What I Do: I am an extroverted people-person helping educate the next generation through Christian Education. Why I Do It: I believe that we are at a time when focusing on Christian education is of utmost importance. Education is emerging as a leading battleground for the minds of our youth and while training academically is important, it is also important to help the church and families teach values and the "why" for our values. How I Do It: I am privileged to contribute as a member of the faculty, teaching middle school classes as needed. In addition to helping teach through a faculty position, I contribute administratively through handling student life and student government. These responsibilities include helping students understand the school values and code of conduct while also helping plan student outings with those elected to student government positions. What Else Do I Do: In my spare time, I love spending time with my wife and our white Bernedoodle. We love hiking and exploring the experiences available in Middle Tennessee (mainly the hot chicken!). Additionally, I love reading, writing for my blog and serving God at my church, Bible Baptist Church.
