Background

About Jon van Itallie

I've had the privilege to work across a variety of industries and use preventive/predictive tools to reduce the impacts of unplanned failures. I've been afforded the opportunity to help front line teams eliminate annoying repetitive failures. I've had the exciting role of leading & mentoring engineers to experience the same satisfaction of eliminating defects through multiple work groups. I've contributed to maintenance budget reduction by optimising tactics, improving repair methodologies, increasing wear life and modernising equipment selection. I've extracted insights through maintenance data analysis to help leaders prioritise business goals. I've used all the above experiences to facilitate Long Term Asset Management Plans and Life Cycle Models to support corporate investment. I enjoy volunteering in my community through the Mountain Bike Club & Church. But my greatest highlight is hanging out with my wife and two boys and seeing them flourish.
