About Jonah Armstrong

Young & Passionate. I've always had an excitement for the construction industry, wanting to follow in the building surveying footsteps of my Dad. Straight out of school I started working with him gaining valuable experience of the surveying and valuation side of the industry, while attending college three days a week completing my Level 3 in Construction & the Built Environment, learning a range of skills from graphical detailing to civil engineering, After two years of working at Validus Property Consultants with my Dad, I wanted a new challenge and seized the opportunity of work experience at Cartrefi Conwy, before landing a Trainee Surveyor role with them. I have now progressed through the company and play the role of Asset & Sustainability Officer. I head up the Minor Aid & Adaptions section, Kitchen & Bathroom Program, Achieving Decarbonisation, General Surveying and a bunch of other areas. Furthermore, I've studied and ascertained my First Class Honours Building Surveying degree, which I gained in three years due to it being a degree apprenticeship - a pathway I would suggest to all construction students. I love working in the housing sector and looking forward to the challenge's in the future. Other than construction; sport, music, family & faith are my interests. An avid football fan and player I will happily give all sports a go. I play many instruments and I love my church. My main inspirations are; Mum, Dad, Brother, Girlfriend and too many others!
