Background

About Jonah Block

I’m a senior at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, pursuing a B.B.A. in Accounting with a minor in Business Law. As both a student-athlete in cross country and track, I’ve developed a strong work ethic, discipline, and time management skills that translate directly into my academic and professional life. I’m passionate about the intersection of financial analysis, accounting systems, and data-driven decision-making. Through internships and coursework, I’ve gained hands-on experience with financial reporting, Excel modeling, and data accuracy validation, and I enjoy solving problems that require both analytical precision and collaboration. Known for my reliability and attention to detail, I approach every challenge with persistence and curiosity — whether it’s reconciling data, improving efficiency in accounting processes, or balancing a full athletic and academic schedule. I’m currently on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility and look forward to building my career in public accounting, corporate finance, or audit.
