As a Sophomore pursuing a major in Economics & Finance and a minor in Data Science at Centre College, Jonah Jackson is a driven and detail-oriented individual passionate about leveraging data to drive informed decision-making in the realm of economics and finance Throughout his academic journey, he has maintained a great GPA of 3.74/4.00 and earned a place on the Dean's List for three consecutive semesters. Additionally, Jonah’s commitment to diversity and inclusion was recognized with the New Horizons Scholarship, reflecting his dedication to fostering a welcoming and equitable environment. As two time Chairmen of Social Programming at Beta Theta Pi - Epsilon Chapter, Jonah honed his leadership and organizational skills by overseeing a committee of 25 members to plan and execute various successful social events. From formal dances and dinners to fraternity homecoming events, he effectively managed a budget of $2500, ensuring each event was meticulously coordinated and executed, resulting in increased attendance and engagement. Jonah’s experience extends beyond campus activities to include his tenure as Flight Commander in the Civil Air Patrol program, where he led a flight of 32 cadets to success in statewide competitions. Additionally, as a Senior BTC Instructor, he facilitated the training and education of new cadets, designing and teaching comprehensive courses to prepare them for success. Equipped with proficiency in corporate accounting, Microsoft Suite, Excel, R-Studio, and data analysis, Jonah is poised to contribute effectively in roles where analytical prowess and strategic thinking are valued.
