Increased focus of being a niche commercial lines property casualty carrier focused on the habitational/multi-family housing sector. Created an environment where the senior leadership was cohesive and was able to support and challenge each other. Responsible for the key relationships for the organization's success including but not limited to AM Best, Reinsurers, PAMIC, NAMIC, Investment Bankers and our Captive partner. Drove results by holding everyone accountable, maintaining underwriting discipline and having a clear focus on our goals and initiatives. This included executing on all our major strategic initiatives. Was a Member of the Board of Directors and the liaison between the Board of Directors and the company. Drove growth in the organization from mid-single to double digit growth in 2021 and 2022, by working with Sales and Underwriting to be more collaborative and have shared goals. Lowered our expense ratio by 6 points over a two-year time-period through process improvements and increased focus. Expanded the company into a new state, North Carolina. Achieved the Best Places to Work designation. Supported our values and prioritized implementation of a DE & I program as a focus for employee recruitment and retention.
