About Jonas Andersson

I´m a production manager and graphic designer. and have up to recently worked as a production manager at IKEA Food in Malmö. Where I was responsible for time and resource planning and communicate the plans to the parties concerned, both internally and externally. Was also responsible for booking photographers and propping, printing dummies of the packaging, ensuring that the packaging lived up to both the Visual Identity as well as the legality and print quality of the final product. To ensure print quality, I visited the printers at the first print for each new product we were launching. These printers are located around Europe, mostly in Germany. I am used to communicating with various stakeholders both internally and externally to get all the material needed for the graphics designers to be able to do a good and smooth job and for the final product to meet all the requirements. I’m for sure a doer and like to get things done and is not at all prestigious, it is the team that gets things done. A great habit of organizing samples, printed packaging and the final result / product. I also have a great understanding about the complex laws around food and the difficulties with global markets when coming to clusters and fitting text on small packaging. Als understanding of food and food waste and packaging’s environmental impact. And my personal as well as professional goal is to make as small a carbon footprint as possible. Has been a professional since 1994 and which among other things, worked as graphic designers, photo editors and production managers. Both in printing companies, small advertising agencies, school picture companies, and at IKEA Communications. Some examples of clients I've worked as an employee, IKEA, Malmö Opera, Skånes Djurpark, Parkering Malmö, Globen Shopping, Paulssons Fastigheter, Jyma Fastigheter, Mellby Center. I live in Malmö with my family, which consists of my wife and our two daughters. I spend a lot of my free time enjoying outdoor activities both with my family and as a hiking guide and boardmember in Friluftsfrämjandet Malmö. I like cooking both at home and out in nature and building Lego.
