Greetings, In the last 2 years, I worked as a Technical Manager for the National Property Board (SFV), with placement at the Swedish embassy in Moscow, Russia. Being one of Sweden’s largest embassies abroad, I gained considerable work experiences in leading and managing daily operations of a significant institution. My duties included organizing and supervising preventive, corrective and planned maintenance, as well as planning and managing various renovation and remodeling projects. I gained significant financial and human resources management experiences. I also supervised the Embassy’s technical team, consisting of 4 locally employed technicians, 2 gardeners and 1 janitor. I was also responsible for the development of project cost estimates and the management of spendings in a cost-efficient and responsible way.Operating in Russia in the current context and the ongoing security challenges requires strong adaptative skills and flexibility, which I both possess. I often had to work on sensitive projects with tight deadlines and limited resources, with no qualified support outside the embassy to rely on. I regularly had to work overtime with short notice. My ability to work under pressure was a key skill to successfully prioritize work and manage my team in stressful situations. Furthermore, my good social skills and my capacity to demonstrate empathy and understanding in the face of cultural differences and the extremely challenging context in Russia, have allowed me to maintain a collaborative network with local entrepreneurs and other embassies, mobilize people and create a vision for my team, while upholding integrity and respect. Previously I worked as an Operations Technician at the Swedish Fortifications Agency, from 2015 to 2021. My main tasks involved working at the Swedish Armed Forces protected facilities, which required a special security clearance. I had to work completely independently, mainly in and around Gothenburg's archipelago. From here I carry with me, among other things, a broad range of experiences in troubleshooting, electrical, ventilation, plumbing, cooling, as well as control and regulation work.I am currently in search of a new job opportunity as my assignment in Moscow was limited to a two-year contract, which expired in the summer of 2023. I´m looking for a job that will stimulate and motivate me, with challenges and opportunities to further develop myself. I can work in challenging conditions, and I have no issue being away from home for longer periods, as demonstrated by my recent two-year posting in Moscow.
