About Jonas Edman
Twenty-five years in the field of simulation. A lot of VOF simulated water has flowed under the FEM modeled bridge since I first started dabbling in open source CFD codes using a serial solver. The pace of development in the field of simulation have been massive, since then. This is what makes this industry so interesting to work in, and the reason why I am still here. I've spent roughly half of those 25 years as a user of simulation tools, and the other half encouraging and helping others to experience the joy and value of simulation tools. I am now at Ansys, a provider of said simulation tools, continuing my professional journey with the aim of benefiting a few enterprise customers of Ansys.
