About Jonas Nilsson

I am an experienced computer enthusiast with several years of university studies, about 20 years of job experience, and 32 years of experience with computers. I'm quick and efficient, with good results, and I am always on the look-out for new technologies. My major at the university was software engineering, which is about raising the bar in IT to the next level – it can be something as complex as for example to go from just installing a database for a project to grasping the entire environment project as a whole; it can also be something so simple as setting up a strategy for branching different code lines in configuration management. My contributions to a work place include commitment to fulfilling the job, and satisfying the customers by meeting their explicit and implicit requirements. I think that I am especially adept at this, since I have a genuine interest both in the specific aspects of consultancy, and also more generic psychological areas such as team dynamics, leadership, and group communication. Customers that are satisfied with the work I have done are much more often easier to work with when it comes to the more formalized parts. One of my goals is to always update myself with new technologies, evaluate their potentials, and see if they are useful in the projects I am working with.
