About Jonas Pfoh

I am currently the Head of Active Security at BedRock Systems, Inc where I lead a research and development team and play a vital role in designing and building a critical component in our product offering. The Active Security component of our offering provides critical policy enforcement, kernel hardening, and forensic logging capabilities to customers that seek high security and high assurance software solutions. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of information security and virtual machine introspection research. This began at the University of Southern California where I completed a Master's program with a focus on information security and at the Technical University of Munich where I subsequently completed my PhD in Computer Science and focused on security and virtualization. Following University, I spent several years with FireEye first working on automated detection in FireEye’s products as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer and later as a Staff Research Engineer for the FireEye FLARE team working on automated malware analysis workflows. I have contributed to many published works including publications and talks at Blackhat USA, USENIX, and NDSS.
