About Jonas Rautenberg

Currently, I work as a Communications Officer at the Federation of German Industries (BDI), umbrella organisation of German industry. Previously, I worked as a Consultant for Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Berlin, focusing on energy and climate policies. I hold an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Humboldt-University Berlin, including a semester abroad at Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. My professional experience includes internships at Hering Schuppener Consulting in Brussels, the Vodafone Institute for Society and Communications and Deutsche Bahn AG. In addition, during my studies at Humboldt-University, I worked for the communications consultancy Johanssen & Kretschmer. Following high school, I dedicated a year to a social project in Lima, Perú.
