About Jonas Sanborn

I have 10 years in manufacturing with an associates in both mechanical and manufacturing engineering technology. Starting working part time at a retail lumber yard and went into the US army right after high school. After 7.5 years in the reserves with annual training each year and one deployment, I was honorably discharged. My experience includes military training, carpentry, weapon training and instruction, leadership training and more. Being an armorer in the service gave me inspiration to look further in the design, function and making of manufactured parts. Enrolling in college and working in production of architectural moulding, I fully became indulged in production and manufacturing. After graduating college, I went into the field and found that I wanted to indulge in more background and design, and found myself in aerospace manufacturing. For the past 5 years, I have built my career in aerospace and have found a seat in engineering, where I have helped those on the floor with process prints/travelers, fixtures designs, and helped improve production and flow on the shop floor. My eagerness to learn and grow has allowed me to work my way into a position where I can communicate and help those on the floor not only produce parts, but make them proficiently and efficiently. Good work is a reflection of not just what I can do but what my team can produce, and that’s what I look forward to the most.
