About Jonata Anicetti

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Centre for Security, Diplomacy and Strategy (CSDS), Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB); a Non-Resident Fellow at the Liechtenstein Institute on Self-Determination (LISD) at Princeton University; and an External Fellow at the Center for Security Studies at Metropolitan University Prague (MUP). I also serve as Head of Research at Countertrade & Offset (CTO), a publication for defence professionals. I hold a PhD in International Relations from the European University Institute (2022). My research focuses on arms collaboration, defence countertrade, and minerals security. My academic work has been published in leading journals such as the European Journal of International Security, Defence and Peace Economics, International Studies Review, The Journal of Strategic Studies, Policy Studies, RUSI Journal, and Defense & Security Analysis. My book, Defence Offsets and the Global Arms Trade: Explaining Cross-National Variations, was published by Routledge in 2024.
