About Jonathan Aplin

I have been working in Management for over several years across retail and heritage visitor attraction sectors. I currently work at National Trust (4 years+) as a Welcome Manager, where I support the Growing Support strategy for the charity. I coach my team in service selling Membership, Admissions and Car Parking sales and increase revenue. Additionally, promoting and driving various fundraising opportunities to keep conserving the property for the future. I have recently won a ‘Growing Support’ award for my determination and hard work. I am currently coaching property teams in all the ways the charity grows support through the delivery of in person self-made training. This in addition to increasing legacy awareness across the property. I have also been working with Head Office and IT teams on a project to replace tills across the whole charity.
