Dr. Jonathan Austin is a Lincoln County native. He is a 2004 graduate of West Lincoln High School. After high school he attended Appalachian State University. During this time he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he completed two deployments. Post Marine Corps, Dr. Austin returned to Appalachian where he completed his degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. He then attended East Carolina School of Dental Medicine, and obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Austin is a strong supporter of being actively involved with the community that he lives in. He is involved with many community organizations, and strives to support local events. He volunteers with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy, Baptist Dental Bus, and Give Kids a Smile.
