As a Tactical Data Link (TDL) engineer and Chief Petty Officer at DESSACC, I apply my communication, management, and innovation skills to deliver high-priority and complex projects in the defence sector. I have 22 years of experience in the Royal Navy, where I gained a reputation for leading people to overcome challenges and achieve results across a broad spectrum of operations and projects.I have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and testing TDL architectures, including Joint Range Extension (JRE) applications, Small Tactical Terminal Cryptographic Modification (STT CM), and MULTI-function Distribution Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS). I also have a certification as a sub-network manager issued by Joint Data Link Management Organisation. I am driven and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the defence and security of the nation, and to enhance the capabilities and performance of the TDL systems and platforms.
