About Jonathan Barnett

My position as Product Manager is the cumulation of effort drawn from a path that started as Network Engineer, travelled through the life of an MSP, and then was refined by my experience as a Sales Engineer. Each of these steps has provided me a deep understanding and insight into the market for which Webroot focuses. My intent is to always drive things forwards with an unrelenting belief that we build the best products in our market and that we leverage the most talented people in the industry. It is my privilege to help coordinate with each of our teams and enable them to build our amazing products. With 20 years’ experience as a Network Engineer and MSP, this perspective has been ingrained into who I am. What I found as I transitioned to Sales Engineer and now to Product Management is that I have an ability to understand needs, build relationships, and then communicate in order to bring these pieces together. When not building products for Webroot, you will find me pursuing my other passions. I love to sail and, when on vacation, you will ideally find me gunkholing in the San Juan and Gulf Islands. Alternately, you might also find me indulging my need for competition and driving as I campaign a Spec Miata on the weekends in local NASA events.
