About Jonathan Bauer

I enjoy working with technology because the scope and pace at which it constantly evolves requires one to be a lifelong learner, and it presents opportunities to continuously try new things. I love to learn how manual systems work and use that knowledge to devise automated systems that significantly improve accuracy and productivity. Equal to my enthusiasm about technology is my passion for working with people. Throughout my career I have developed an effective set of communication and leaderships skills along with a desire to be a part of a successful team. I have a keen ability to understand both my teams’ capabilities as well as emerging technology's, allowing me to rally people around shared objectives to complete highly visible and game changing tasks. My greatest achievement involves leading a cross-functional team of motivated, talented people in turning around a failed EMR system implementation. I developed and deployed a five-year strategic plan to adopt McKesson Paragon EMR including computerized physician order entry (CPOE), medication reconciliation, and physician documentation processes, resulting in enhanced security, paperless environment, and alignment with American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) “Meaningful Use” regulatory requirements. With that initiative well underway, I am ready to bring my skills, experience, and drive to continue to improve and embrace change to a new and challenging role.
