About Jonathan Bautz

From 2006 to 2010 I attended Harford Technical High School in Bel Air, Maryland. Attending this technical school gave student the opportunity to join a technical training class for the 4 years they would attend the high school. In 2010 I graduated with a 3.8 GPA and earned a 4-Year certification in Graphic Design and Communications. At graduation I immediately joined Harford County Community College to continue my education, receiving an Associates of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Photography. These credits then transferred to Towson University of Baltimore, Maryland where I continued my education in graphic design and dual-majored in business administration. In the time I was attending classes I was also working full time at a local, small business as the Senior Graphic Designer. Eventually it came time to move on and I joined a photography studio in the Baltimore area as their senior graphic designer and lead professional photographer, while beginning my education in astrophysics and aeronautics. During schooling and full-time employment I also volunteered services at local science foundations and observatories to further spark my interests and knowledge of the space and astronomy community. After several years, eventually moving on to opening my own freelance service for both graphic design and photography, I still volunteered at local science foundations and observatories, as well as now assisting classes at nearby universities when I moved north into the central Pennsylvania area. Now, after graduating from online courses at the University of Cambridge with a dual Bachelors of Science degree in Astrophysics and Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering, I am a proud member of the Planetary Society and National Science Foundation. I am currently employed at Red Rose Pool Service and am seeking new and better opportunities as soon as possible for work-related reasons.
