As a Rec Care Coordinator at City of Denton, I oversee the daily operations and activities of the Rec Care program, which provides after-school and summer care for children and teens. I manage a team of recreation leaders, coordinate with school staff and parents, and ensure the safety and quality of the program. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, where I learned valuable skills in management, communication, and organization. I have two years of work experience in the recreation field, including a previous role as a Recreation Leader at City of Denton and a summer position as an Aquatics Director at Boy Scouts of America. I am passionate about youth mentoring, and I enjoy creating fun and educational opportunities for the participants of the Rec Care program. My core competencies include leadership, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. I am dedicated to serving the community and enhancing the well-being of the children and families in Denton.
