About Jonathan Blyth

I am always looking for a new challenge to push myself. At the age of 24, I did just that. I successfully applied to the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency (CFPSA), completed basic training (which included being gassed in a chamber!) and was deployed overseas to support Canadian Forces on base in Camp Julien, Kabul, Afghanistan. I may have at times told myself, this is crazy, what am I doing here? But despite being away from family and friends, in a foreign country and a war zone, I persevered. That's me. I will take those challenges head on, learn, adapt and conquer all situations. As in Afghanistan, I bring my adaptability and willingness to challenge myself in all aspects of work. I certainly don’t have to navigate sand storms, sweat out in high summer heats or listen out for the bomb siren, but I do have to navigate, sweat out and listen for the day-to-day challenges that arise at work and home and conquer them! I bring not only my “can do anything attitude” to conquer everything, but my years of customer service (internal and external), data, time and project management skills, great team spirit and a positive outlook; not to mention a great personality!
