About Jonathan Chevalier

Working for the Conseils des ecoles fransaskoises, I got introduced to a business environment and helped implement a new interface system for all computers used within Saskatchewan. Employment at the City of Regina provided me knowledge on roadways and maintenance, cost analysis for projects, mitigation solutions and helped me learn how to network from business to business. The Government of Saskatchewan hired me for a summer term as an engineering student, and I worked in the climate change department to help develop potential protocols for one of three options provided in the Prairie Resilience initiative. I am currently working as an environmental engineer at Axiom Exploration group, and acquired knowledge conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), oil and gas downhole abandonments and surface reclamation, geophysical surveys (i.e, LiDAR, ground-penetrating radar (GPR) Electromagnetic (EM)). Collaborative efforts within our small team helped to develop and manage a field program (Summer 2022) to conduct Phase I ESA's, gas migration tests, downhole abandonments, and cut and cap oil and gas well sites, and implemented environmental techniques with conventional operations to reduce costs for 150 + sites.
