About Jonathan Chiddick

I have more than 30 years of experience in the petrochemical, industrial automation and telecommunications industries. Having held diverse line-management and specialist roles in an array of project types and industries, the past 25 years I have spent with Nokia in telecommunications roles, from engineer to department head, where a major emphasis in recent years has been on organisational competence and capability development. My primary area of specialization and personal interest is global communications and virtual team dynamics. As the head of various global organisations over the years, I have gathered considerable experience leading and communicating with teams with all manner of cultural and international contributors. I have gained a wealth of cultural and organisational experience in executing global projects in virtual team environments which is a valuable resource for any organisation operating internationally in situations where the small-details frequently make the big differences. I am currently responsible for internal communications and competence development in a division of Nokia's Mobile Networks with approximately 2600 employees. I am comfortable in any international environment. My career has taken place in a variety of international locations. e.g. I have many years of experience working in Germany and with German companies with which I have developed extensive knowledge, experience and language fluency to be able to effectively operate as a native. I have the knowledge and experience to get the best out of people and to know how to present and communicate a case to achieve acceptance for a wide variety of project and development scenarios.
