About Jonathan Christodoro

Jonathan serves as the Co-founder of Troluce Capital Advisors, a data driven investment partnership focused on event driven and special situations with over $3Bn in firmwide AUM. Prior to forming Troluce, Jonathan served as the Chief Investment Officer of Patriot Global Management, a partnership with Alpha Wave Global (backed by UAE's Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed) focused on concentrated and event driven opportunities. Previously, he served as a Managing Director of Icahn Capital LP leading concentrated investments in public and private equity directly for Carl Icahn. Jonathan deployed upwards of $8Bn in capital at cost in technology, healthcare, business services and energy companies. Before Icahn, Jonathan served in various buy-side investment and research roles including at SAC Capital Advisors (the predecessor firm to Point72). He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Morgan Stanley, focused on merger and acquisition transactions across a variety of industries including financial technology, asset management, and TMT (technology, media, and telecom). Jonathan is also an active private technology and business builder in both companies and early-stage funds such as Telly, Acorns, Say (acquired by Robinhood), Embed Financial, Compass, Tenstorrent, Telegram and April, amongst many others. Jonathan has served on fifteen corporate boards, all in conjunction with leading significant investments in the underlying companies. Jonathan currently serves as a Director of PayPal, The Ether Machine (as Vice Chairman), and bolttech. Jonathan previously served as a Director of eBay (prior to its split with PayPal), Xerox, Cheniere Energy, Herbalife, Lyft, Hologic (acquired by Blackstone and TPG), SandRidge Energy and Talisman (acquired by Repsol), amongst others and was nominated to the board of Dell. Jonathan received an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business with Distinction, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management and an MPH in Epidemiology from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management Magna Cum Laude with Honors Distinction in Research from Cornell University. He was accepted to the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB)(twice) and the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He is active in his community including in YPO’s Manhattan Gotham Chapter, the Harvard Club of New York, Mensa, Cornell Tech, and philanthropic endeavors involving veteran advocacy and mental health.
