About Jonathan Christopher Gani

As a Turbine Process Engineer at APRIL, I operate on a 632 MW power plant generated by eight turbines with back pressure and condensing type. I also support mill operations by distributing MP and LP steam, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability. I joined APRIL in Oct 2021 as an Engineer Development Trainee, where I have been learning and applying engineering design, data analysis, and reporting skills to various turbine activities and projects. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the company's vision of sustainable and responsible forestry and energy production. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, where I graduated in Jul 2021. During my studies, I served as the vice chair of the Student Association of Mechanical Engineering, where I organized and participated in academic and social events, and developed my leadership and communication skills. I am a time-based, disciplined, and eager learner, who is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow and improve. I am interested in connecting and sharing with other professionals in the power plant and engineering fields.
