Over 25 years, senior business leader in the Legal, Intellectual Property and IT industries at global organisations (Linklaters, BT Group plc, King & Wood Mallesons, CPA Global, PwC, Osborne Clarke). Working with colleagues through times of major change, I've led business divisions and large teams, as well as multi-£m P & Ls, budgets and strategic growth plans. Specialising in professional services' sales growth, my core skill is business development underpinned by strong client relationships. Sales and business development achievements have resulted in contract wins in multiple service lines and markets: • corporate and commercial Legal services to Blue Chip and emerging companies (Linklaters, BT Group plc, King & Wood Mallesons, Osborne Clarke | 14 years) • people and technology-enabled Legal and Intellectual Property services to transform clients’ strategic capabilities and operations (BT Group plc, CPA Global, PwC, Osborne Clarke | 10 years) • digital transformation, integrated software platforms and data analytics to enable clients across industries to support, and collaborate with, their customers more effectively (BT Group plc, CPA Global, QMV | 10 years) • networked IT services linking UK Government departments to provide more effective and joined-up services to citizens (BT Group plc | 5 years) First 10 years of my career as a corporate and commercial lawyer (Linklaters, BT Group plc, secondment to Merrill Lynch). Lived and worked in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. Long-standing, active role in community life - as well as formerly serving as a Local Councillor and school governor, I support a range of causes including heritage and archaeology, environment and mental wellbeing.
