About Jonathan Collins

I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana where I developed my interest in the tech field. In 2019, I was able to further my interest in the tech field by attending Purdue University and working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. During my time at Purdue, my courses helped me develop the skills necessary for working with AI Facial Recognition, BLE-connected mobile apps, and coding in assembly language. Outside of my courses, I participated in the Formula SAE club where we worked on wiring and CAD concepts for our Formula 1 car which went on to compete against other Universitys' cars. Throughout my summers, I worked multiple internships for E-Tech Molding, and Cook Polymer & Technology. I further developed my coding, design, and wiring skills to increase the accuracy and efficiency of multiple systems. I also worked as an Information and Technology Representative at Purdue during the academic year. Outside of academics and computer engineering, I’m passionate about health and fitness. While at Purdue I became NASM certified and worked as a personal trainer. I was able to work with a diverse group of people and help them achieve their goals. As a recent Purdue University graduate, I’m open to any opportunities that will help further my computer engineering knowledge and skillset. I also hope to make connections that will help guide me into the Software world!
