I have held a broad range of positions in Asset Management, including responsibility for the Investment Strategy of UK Local Authority Pension Funds, Currency Alpha portfolio manager, voting member and rotating chair of the Multi Asset investment Committee, Co-Head of Multi-Asset Portfolio Management and Head of Multi Asset Allocation (March 2017-March 2018). I have extensive governance experience, having been a Director of UBS Asset management (UK) Ltd, UBS Asset management (Life) Ltd. UBS Asset management (Funds) Ltd (£154.1. AuM), facing off to the regulator as material risk taker (CF1) and member of the UK Management Board. In addition, I was also for several years a member of the CFA UK Society Advisory Council. During my career I have performed public speaking, delivering the insights from my analysis at public conferences. In recent years my main focus has been the Global Financial Outlook. Earlier in my career, I was in frequent demand to talk about European Monetary Union and the ECU/EURO. Although a UK citizen, I moved to Switzerland in 2019 to be nearer my wife’s family.
